Avoid narrow streets and unnecessary turns: a parking spot for €1 per hour allows you to reach the village in just 5 minutes on foot.

Peschici: why not enter the historic center by car

When you first see Peschici, you might think just follow the uphill road to reach the town's heart. From the road, the historic center looks close, and driving seems easiest.

But that's the mistake many visitors make.

The historic center of Peschici is protected by a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) active all year. So, if you're visiting, don't try driving to the center. It's better to park outside and walk the last few minutes.

The most convenient parking for visiting Peschici

My advice? Set your GPS to Parcheggio G. di Vittorio. This way, you avoid the narrow streets or reaching the ZTL entrance, only to turn back.

The parking is just a short walk from the historic center. In about 5 minutes on foot, you reach the village alleys.

The cost is very reasonable: 1 € per hour, a rare find in many tourist spots. It's a medium-sized parking area with about 80 spaces, and not guarded.

From here, start your visit. Stroll among the charming white houses, the historic center alleys, and many Adriatic viewpoints. Planning to stay for dinner?
