Where to Park in Foggia to Visit the Historic Center

Finding parking in central Foggia isn't easy. So, plan ahead and park before exploring on foot.

Foggia's center isn't tiny, but you can walk it easily once you park your car.

The historic center of Foggia, between Via Arpi, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and Via Manzoni, has a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL).

Just outside this area, there are four parking lots. But only three are good for visitors.

Parking closest to Foggia's center

Parcheggio Ginetto is one of the most convenient options for visiting Foggia during the day.

It's centrally located, making the historic center easy to reach on foot. The rate is €1.20 per hour, so it's great for a few hours' visit.

The Parcheggio V. Russo is an underground monitored parking lot. It's very close to the center.

I usually use it in the evening when I go to see a show at the theater. It's convenient because you can leave your car in a secure spot and walk to both the theater and the city's central streets.

The Parcheggio di Foggia, near the train station, is another option for those wanting to park for several hours.

It's a bit farther from the heart of the historic center than the first two options. But it's worth considering if you plan a longer stay in the city.

The Parcheggio Zuretti is also conveniently located for reaching the center. But it's important to know it's not for occasional visitors to Foggia.

This public parking, currently leased, is reserved for users with a valid subscription.

So, it might show up on maps, but don't count it as an option for a day visit.
