Parking Guide for Champoluc Ayas During High Season
Find out where to park in Champoluc Ayas during high season.
If you arrive in Champoluc during peak season, parking isn't just a detail. It can ruin your day. It's not a city with parking everywhere. It's a mountain town with limited spaces and busy times. So, if you don't know where to park, you'll waste time. Especially during the worst times. Knowing the right spots helps you avoid the wrong ones. When the closest spots fill up, only paid or distant options remain.
If you want to avoid paid parking and save time, there are two good options.
The first is parking along Via Taluq Champoluc, just above the center. It's one of the few places with free spots near the lifts and busy areas. It's not huge, so it fills up quickly during peak times. But it's the most straightforward solution.
The second option is further away: the Pilaz area. It's easier to find parking here. There's less pressure, but you'll need to head towards Champoluc. You can walk or use local transport.
Val d'Ayas offers more than just parking 😄 If you're here for skiing, check out the Monterosa Ski area. It connects Champoluc to Gressoney. Prefer hiking? The Palasinaz Lakes are a beautiful hike. Start from Frachey. Looking for a place to eat or stay? La Tchavana farm is right in Val d'Ayas. It's worth a stop.
