Punta della Suina in Gallipoli: Beach Club Prices, Parking and What to Expect

Punta della Suina is one of the most beautiful beaches in Gallipoli, with crystal-clear water, a pine forest and small coves among the rocks. Here are the costs of parking, sunbeds, umbrellas and the beach bar, plus what to expect during a day at one of the most famous beach clubs in Salento.

Punta della Suina in Gallipoli: Beach Club Prices, Parking and What to Expect

We spent a day at Punta della Suina. It was a beautiful sunny day. Just reaching the sea shows why it's a top beach near Gallipoli. The water is incredibly clear. During midday, the seabed seems almost lit from below.

Punta della Suina is unique because you don't see the sea right away. After parking, which costs 7 euros, you walk through a pine forest. This forest separates the road from the coast. I really liked this detail. It offers shade during the hottest hours. It's a relief when the beach sun gets too strong. I didn't find this at Gallipoli's other famous beach: la spiaggia della Purità.

Suddenly, the trees open up and the sea appears.

The landscape is different from Salento's big sandy beaches. Here, the coast has small sandy coves and low rocks jutting into the water. The scenery is spectacular and very photogenic. But I still prefer beaches with more sand and fewer rocks. If you love long walks on the shore, you might prefer somewhere else.

The most comfortable part of the beach is occupied by the equipped lido. And here's something often missed in photos.

At Punta della Suina, almost everything costs money.

In peak season, an umbrella with two loungers costs 60 euros. The front row can reach 85 euros, and some special spots almost hit 100 euros a day. You can find loungers and umbrellas on the rocks almost everywhere. Even the iconic round rock seen in many photos is now an equipped area.

If you're hoping to easily find a free spot for your towel, you might be disappointed. By noon, the small beaches between the rocks are completely full, and finding available space becomes harder.

The bar follows the same beach club vibe. It's not just a simple seaside kiosk for a quick coffee. The atmosphere is like a real beach club: loud music most of the day, cocktails, aperitifs, and a well-maintained setting that attracts mainly young people.

It's great for those looking for a lively beach day with music and activity. But it's not ideal for anyone imagining a quiet beach surrounded by nature.

Prices are quite high: 2.50 euros for a simple coffee served in a paper cup. It won't break your vacation budget, but it shows the price level inside the facility.

Doing the math, a couple visiting Punta della Suina in August can easily spend over 100 euros on parking, an umbrella, loungers, drinks, and some bar snacks.

The sea remains magnificent, and the pine forest makes arriving at the beach especially pleasant. Punta della Suina is a place worth seeing, as long as you know it's a beach club experience on one of Gallipoli's most beautiful coastlines, not a traditional free beach in Salento.
