Why Polignano encourages traveler meet-ups
The first reason is the town's size: the historic center, seafront, panoramic terraces, beaches, and port are all just minutes apart. If you spend two or three days here, you'll likely visit the same spots multiple times.
So, it's normal to start seeing the same people again. Maybe you see them in the morning on a boat tour, then in the afternoon at Lama Monachile, and in the evening, while strolling through the historic center, you bump into the same faces again.
