Where do you fly?
One of the most popular take-off points is in Caranna, near Cisternino. From here, you take off over the Itria Valley, soaring above an orderly and charming countryside. On clear days, the view extends all the way to the sea.
The flight takes place in tandem, meaning you fly alongside an experienced pilot who guides the entire experience. No prior experience is needed: just follow the instructions, run a few meters, and let the wind carry you away.
Who can fly?
Tandem paragliding is suitable for almost everyone. Those who can fly include: Adults and children aged 6-8 and above (with parental consent), People weighing up to 110 kg, Those who do not suffer from severe vertigo or significant mobility issues. No physical preparation is required. The flight is gentle and relaxing; it is not an extreme or dangerous activity.
How much does it cost to fly?
The price of the flight varies depending on the season and the operator, but on average it ranges from €105 to €120 per person for a standard flight and €130-€160 per person if it includes an HD memory video. Some packages also include shuttle service or professional photos. Payment is often made online in advance. It is possible to cancel the reservation for free up to a few days before the experience.
How long does the experience last?
The entire experience lasts about 1.5 hours. The actual flight lasts between 15 and 25 minutes, depending on wind conditions. The main phases include: Arrival at the meeting point, Brief safety briefing, Dressing and harnessing, Take-off and panoramic flight, Soft landing on a grassy area.

How do you reach the flight point?
To reach the take-off point, you need your own or rented vehicle. The starting points are located about 15-20 minutes by car from Ostuni and Cisternino. Many operators also offer shuttle service from nearby accommodations or meeting points in the city. It is useful to inquire during the booking process.
What should you bring?

The technical equipment (harness, helmet, parachute) is provided by the organization. Everything is certified and inspected according to current regulations.
When to fly?
The ideal season for paragliding in Puglia runs from April to October. The summer months, especially early in the morning or late in the afternoon, offer the best conditions for safe flying. Flights are subject to wind: if conditions are not favorable, the experience will be postponed or canceled to ensure safety.
