Main Locations of Lolita Lobosco in Bari

Piazza dell'Odegitria

Cattedrale di San Sabino

Basilica di San Nicola

Lungomare Nazario Sauro

Spiaggia di Pane e Pomodoro

If you've watched Le indagini di Lolita Lobosco and are thinking of visiting Bari, get ready for a surprise. The locations are real, just like on TV, but the vibe is different from the show. Walking through Bari Vecchia, you'll easily spot the squares, churches, and views from the series. But what you hear is different: people chatting from balconies, groups of tourists, conversations in the Bari dialect, and a city much livelier than it seems on screen.

Most scenes were shot in Bari Vecchia, Lungomare Nazario Sauro, and Pane e Pomodoro beach. You can visit almost all these spots in one walk without a car.

Lolita Lobosco's Locations

The place that struck me most is Piazza dell'Odegitria. In the series, it often appears as a quiet, cozy space. Lolita's apartment is here, with the terrace seen in many scenes. In real life, it's busier: tourists, tables, and constant movement from the alleys. But it's instantly recognizable for fans of the show.

The Basilica of San Nicola appears in several shots. It's a city symbol and is just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. They're five minutes apart.

Another spot you'll recognize is Lungomare Nazario Sauro. Many iconic series images were filmed here, especially those with the sea in the background. I was struck by how many people walk or exercise there. On sunny days, it's one of the city's busiest places.

The Pane e Pomodoro beach appears often in the series. It shows a different Bari compared to the historic center. In the show, it looks calm and almost secluded. But in summer, it's a different story. Being the city beach, it can get really crowded. This lets you see an authentic side of Bari's daily life.

A walking tour of the series locations

If you want to see the main spots without wasting time, start at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. From there, enter Bari Vecchia. In minutes, you can reach Piazza dell'Odegitria, visit the Cathedral of San Sabino and the Basilica of San Nicola, then head to the seafront.

From here, walk along Lungomare Nazario Sauro to reach Pane e Pomodoro. The whole route takes about three hours, not counting stops.

If possible, start your walk in the late afternoon. This way, you'll reach the seafront near sunset, which is when Bari looks most like the series. It's also when I found the city most enjoyable, with less heat and beautiful light on the sea.
