Acqua Splash Alberobello for an unforgettable summer

Alberobello is inland in Puglia. In summer, you think of the sea. In half an hour, you can reach Monopoli, Polignano, or Savelletri. So, the choice seems obvious.

But that day, the wind was strong. It filled your eyes with sand and chased your umbrella. We wanted to swim, but not fight the wind. So, we changed plans and stayed in Alberobello, choosing Acqua Splash.

Entry cost 15 euros each. By the end of the day, it felt fair.

The park is small but well-kept, very clean, and organized. Its compact size is a plus: if you have kids, you can easily keep an eye on them without stress. It's not sprawling, so you find your way quickly.

We had lunch inside: there's a simple but functional bar pizzeria. The pizza was quite decent for a water park, with reasonable prices. You can also bring coolers (just no glass), so you have options. The hot shower costs extra, handy if you want to leave already freshened up. Outside, there's a large free parking lot, which is great in summer. It's better to buy tickets online to avoid long lines on busy days.

Overall, the place is tidy, though a bit more attention wouldn't hurt: I saw someone come off a slide with a damaged swimsuit and some marks on their back. Nothing serious happened during our visit, but it's wise to follow instructions and be careful when sliding.

We went home without sand on us, no umbrellas bent by the wind, and no traffic stress heading to the coast. Sometimes the beach is the obvious choice; other times, a last-minute change is the smartest move.
